tis the friggin season to be hateful and disrespectful. i have noticed, over the years, that people are inconsiderate around the holidays. yes, lady with the huge ass and too tight weave yelling "oh no honey, ohhhhhhh no", i understand that you are stressed because the minimum wage job you have doesnt pay enough to get all 17 of your chilren (spelled purposesly with out the d) and grand chilren and aunties and uncles presents. but get the hell over it. SOME OF US ARE NOT BITTER ABOUT OUR LIVES! some of us love christmas spirit and holiday music and family and jesus!!! and you, jerk off who took the right shoe to the left shoe i was trying on and wouldnt give back, you brought down my mood. i have thought about your ugly ass acne scarred 53 year old mullet wearing ass ever since you stole the shoe i wanted to purchase at TJ Maxx. and b t dub, your cankles did NOT look good in those purple suede round toe platform pumps.
i usually love christmas, really, i do. i love the music and the lights and the smells and the trees and the whole spirit. but lately, i am not in the mood. maybe its because i dont live at home anymore? maybe my mom is the one who always got me in the spirit (yeaaaaa, youre right.. probably not. she waits till the day before to put up a tree--if she puts one up at all). i dont know what it is, but something about being home for the holidays is refreshing. i miss college for MANY MANY reasons, but winter break is probably one of the main ones.
also, has anyone noticed that tragic things happen more around this time of year?? in the past few weeks i have learned of friends whose apartments have burned down, co workers who tell their 9 yr old son that santa retired because she cant afford any presents, and multiple people who have just been diagnosed with crazy diseases. so, even after all of those awful bitchy rude people brought down my christmas mood, i have so much to be grateful for. i have a house, a job that i love, a family that loves me unconditionally, amazing friends and my health (physically, not mentally obvs). i thank God every day for the blessings that he has given me. thats a lie, i dont do it everyday, in fact i forget to pray a LOT.. (side note, pray before going to bed tonight) but i should! i have so much to be thankful for.
this post was a huge ranting rambled mess. im not very organized lately, even my thoughts are scattered haha! however, its been a while and my dear dear dear friend Ashley reminded me today that for some reason people think i am funny and like to read what goes on in my life. (orrrr just my mom, ashley and my roommate). also, i am procrastinating packing. because i loathe packing. almost as much as i despise doing the dishes.
ok, must go now. i have a lot to do before waking up at 530 to drive back to Sumter.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
