obsessed.

at first i thought i was too overwhelmed by pinterest.  but you know what they say: "if at first you dont succeed, try try again." and good thing (or maybe bad thing) i did, because now im obsessed (not a sufficient enough word, i mean i spend every second on this damn site.) and now my creative juices are bubbling over.  i get in these moods every once and a while.  i start itching to make something, paint something, sew something or at least start one of these many projects and then half way thru i normally get tired of it and stop.  unless of course i have my aunt or uncle with me.  i owe all of my creativeness (or pretending to be creative) to them.  my mom would much rather buy something or pay someone but not us.  Kristi, Mark and I LOVE a good DIY. which is why, of course, i sent them an invite to pinterest as well.  im sure all of our convos/texts/visits will be spent discussing our latest finds and the coolest tips & tricks (tell me youve seen the pancake batter bottle?!)

i knew this would happen. first came myspace, then came facebook. next up was twitter and despite my better instincts i quickly became consumed with yet another social network.  thank god there is zero possible way for pinterest to cause drama.  THIS is the sort of website i need to keep to (who am i kidding? i love the facebook drama!)

i have tomorrow off (thank you Christopher Columbus).  i am beyond excited to sleep in, take my time getting ready and enjoy my day.  im hoping its a beautiful day so i can bring my new book (heaven is for real) to Piedmont Park and enjoy the fall weather. alone. with no one bothering me to open a checking account for them, reset their online banking, teach them how to use a friggin computer or just plain bother me. and the best part about a 3 day weekend? a 4 day work week.  can't wait :)
